3vilbot has spoken
In summary 3vil said something about it in the past that was definitive in a sense but when looking at actual chats it seems to be a bit looser than his prediction.
because of the forum change it probably has become more annoying to try and manage - versus when it was one solid message stream its easy to just look and see (that at the lack of slowmode)
also yes i know its ironic im answering this question as a non-staff but shutup
Reported blocked banned ๐ฒ unbelievable behavior lol
Anotherr reason behind members not answering before the forums was because it would flood the chat and questions
But here the question is always visible
So if the conversation is still on topic it should be fine
Ideally
the point isnt that tho lmao
its literally questions for staff
not just generalized questions
I think those generalized questions in part are what's making the gray area exist. Originally I think the logic behind staff only answers was to prevent non staff from giving a false answer. But you don't have to be concerned about that when the question is "what's your favorite drink"
Idk if I was the one deciding if non staff can answer I would either say, if it's a not serious question yes, or add one of those tags you can put on a post so people can opt into non staff answer.
