The cleanest transition I could think of is just doing a drum fill into a crash if you want that power shift. But if you want something smoother, having the guitar play a counter melody before playing those intervals would proabbly sound good

What I usually do is use metal GTX for rhythm/riff/chords with stratus as leads as metal GTX is forced to a double-tracked sound and stratus has more programming depth in leads

i just made it wide again artificially cuz i liked it
i have no idea if im using this correctly
just selected presets until it sounded good, also amp goes before cab right i put my convolver before the distortion and maybe that's what maybe made it sound off to you

Instead of doing it artificially, just go to the bottom right and choose stereo instead of mono
Metal gtx is naturally wide due to its double tracking so you shouldn't have to do any other processing
