If you made it in 10 mins, it may be a good idea to wait a while and listen again
I find that many things I make in a short amount of time tend to not be as good as I initially hear them
My biggest advice is to follow the phrygian dominant scale
This is the stereotypical scale that egyptian music uses
There's also that this is a bit messy; if you could give a clear melody to follow with simpler bg elements, it'd be fitting
this sounds like something straight outta cruelty squad 💀
Im Egyptian I could help
Ok so that’s what it’s called lmao
I was gonna say “harmonic minor scale starting from fifth”
lmao true
i feel like u could use some egyptian instruments or smth, like citars or these little flute things they use for hypnotising snakes or whatever
and some drums would be nice
Wrong ethnicity buddy we don't hypnotise snakes
oh shi, sorry
my bad
Nah nah is good
I can tell you what we use I'm an experienced Egyptian just lemme remember
Go with the phyrigian dominant of your key or if you want to go more into it, use something called a double harmonic scale.
And for even more stereotypical stuff, use some instruments like tanpura, sitar, oud, darbuka, ney, and qanun
okay
