#Bring back the no game over feature

There was a way to lose before - the storm. Then you'd have to restart. I think I prefer the pre alpha's gameplay loop.
I mean their idea is to make the storm not feel like a game over, plus they want to have meaningful events and with no storm there's only so much they could do.
Yeah but other that the storm , i prefer the guest taking us to His cage ( just like in prototype 3 ) than just getting eaten by him in the forest on the other side of the map
Technically, you do get sent to his cage, but it's more like how it was in Prototype 2. When the guest takes you, you actually get teleported to the cage area for a frame, before getting hit with the Game Over Text (P2) or with the restart leading screen (Pre-Alpha)
well , in my case , he just likes to put me under the map for 1 second before i get the fall damage death
Agreed. We don't need a game over by being captured by the guest. Id prefer the old one where he captures the player and brings them to his layer for you to escape it
Thats what im saying, it would be better
I like game over feature it makes it so instead of repeating the same thing I actually think about what could be improved in my last run based on what I know will happen and let's me approach things differently
I have an idea for a middle ground.
What if they just return the guest's den, but make something like Granny or Stay out of the house? You get to try to escape, but if he brings you there too many times THEN you get a Game Over. Also, they could bring back a fracture of the ai learning feature from the previous games. (For example, he'll catch you, bring you to his den and after you escape through one route, The Guest will barricade or block said path, forcing you change your escape if he catches you a second time. After escaping through a different, he'll do the same, again and again until all exits of his den have been blocked. After that, the game will analyse how many escapes are blocked and then determine if you get a Game Over.)
But problem is being placed in his home is often more annoying then death
