There's only crossplay across certain platforms for a reason

  1. Steam has the Steam Workshop, which is Steam/PC exclusive. It wouldn't work on consoles.
  2. All versions would have to have constant version sync and bigger servers to account for this.
  3. Versions like iOS need to have separate optimization to keep the game running well.
