Ever since the most recent update, the game has not been getting any updates, Hologryph has moved on from the game, and it begs the question to will the game be gone? Many fans of the original game are left on a huge roadblock if not a devastating dead end. I'm not saying the game SHOULD be removed, for I myself am a big fan of the series, along with Secret Neighbor.

The last update we got was an artstyle update and two new characters. This whole update was made to sponsor the failed sequel Hello Neighbor 2, and has been left within the dust by the community. This failure had gotten to a point where the people who had left the franchise and came back to see Hello Neighbor 3 confused that there was a sequel in the first place.

The characters are EXTREMELY out of place. For example: Quentin. Quentin is a grown man compared to the kids. Not to mention, on release day, these characters were unbalanced, and many players were outraged on how the taxidermist was broken.

It felt like the last update was just a final gush of dirt being thrown at the game, done by the developers to at least get an update.

We have been left with no clear answer as to whether this project is dead or on hold. What we were left with is Hologryph working on SAND. We are asking for an update, or at least clear proof of the fate of the beloved game.🪦

Yeah the update completely ruined everything in the game. I always questioned why they would add QUENTIN as a kid character of all things, - a GROWN man who barely has any canon dialogues with either of the kids (at the time of secret neighbor). I fear that they will completely abandon development of this game at this point, the shops constantly recycling the same old items every day, and replayability is becoming worse and worse per match. You only get a cool badge and a few boosts with the level system, aswell, so leveling up isn't really rewarding unless you would wanna flex. Nonetheless, I think they should revamp the game, and maybe add a battlepass so that playing the game would actually be rewarding.

There's no passion in the updates that have been coming out the past few years

The quality of the game (gameplay, visuals, sound design, etc etc) and the random decisions that don't make sense to update the with prove this

Idek why I bother saying this though. I've made this point like 500 times since 2023

Still $20 btw with transactions. $20 for a soulless marketing product that has too much potential but will never see it through

Miss the old days where you'd be very likely to face 5 braves and 1 bagger

The braves fight like dogs and the bagger is funny enough a new player who is also the Neighbor but doesnt know it

it really went down hill after the hello neighbor 2 graphics update came out

just for a crappy game that got ditched so hard cuz the devs are trying to reignite their old flame they lost so long ago

markiplier, dantdm, jackseptic eye, to name a few will never see the "famous" moustache man again
