I mean, you already start with a flashlight, but I guess finding a lamp quickly could be helpful even though it has nothing to do with being a detective

Sometimes your life is important in the game, you only use your light source to fight until u find something, basically like when u evacuate a building and leave ur belongings. If the basement doors open and the neighbor camps ur light source wont be important to bring it in, instead use it for self defense and make your way to the basement

Listen here, you unlocked the last key and open the door, but the neighbor is behind you
You having nothing but ur flashlight or lamp u can only fight with that
But I agree the light sources should be highlighted when using the detective's detectio ability

u know detectio skill that pings like keycard, crowbar and another? yeah my suggestion is a lamp or flashlight ping on that skill
