its different cz the original map was more of a placeholder than an actual lore accurate setting
*since the main focus was the neighbor's house in hn1
since the whole town is the focus in hn2, they likely changed it to be more detailed and accomodating for new additions later on, hence the streets and extended map
although the original hn1 map is very nostalgic honestly
