I don't think they're too long, but I find them a bit too exagerated, I'd just love something like the deep dive one, mr peterson catches you and looks disapointed, it's very simple but looks good, I feel like theres too much going on in the current ones.

But the example you gave is very short, that's almost less than a second, that's unsatisfying, anytime the guest gives me those short catch animations I just get annoyed because it feels so fast my brain cant even process the animation

the game heavily relies on exploration, so you would obv get caught a lot

I haven't seen anybody else complain about a 4 second long animation or something. That's just really impatience on your end.

the dislikes on the post speak for themselfes, if you have a problem with 4 second long animations cause you just keep getting caught over and over that is not the games problem

It's not that hard to avoid the ai's either, you're not gonna get caught 50 times unless you're trying to get caught or something

Im just gonna end this with, if you were the dev, what would you make the animation then? What would you put in like 1 second of animation or 2

Like sorry but it isnt the games problem if you cannot live trough 4 seconds of animation after making a mistake and getting caught

It's soppossed to be punishing a little (Which they already fail at in hn2)

I already think hn2 is way too easy and boring so I think they should punish you MORE after getting caught
