them being exaggerated fits the game
they just ruin the pacing
like, everytime i get caught i have to wait like 7 seconds until i can play again

You must have really little time to get annoyed from a catch animation taking longer than 1 seconds
The one you just pointed out is too fast to me

like i said, some i think should be shortened
same animations, just a bit shorter
But the example you gave is very short, that's almost less than a second, that's unsatisfying, anytime the guest gives me those short catch animations I just get annoyed because it feels so fast my brain cant even process the animation
less annoying than sitting at the bakery and getting caught for the 50th time with the same 7 second wait time
it will just get repetitive after a while
everytime i get caught im like "oh no you caught me, now let me play again"
Well if you get caught 50 times, that's not the games fault

Hey the games encouraging you by punishing you getting caught with suuuuch a long animation
new players tend to get caught a lot
the game heavily relies on exploration, so you would obv get caught a lot
I haven't seen anybody else complain about a 4 second long animation or something. That's just really impatience on your end.
if you get caught for the 50th time obv im getting impatient lmao
thats like dying in a platformer then needing to wait out 16 seconds until you can play again

the dislikes on the post speak for themselfes, if you have a problem with 4 second long animations cause you just keep getting caught over and over that is not the games problem

It's not that hard to avoid the ai's either, you're not gonna get caught 50 times unless you're trying to get caught or something

Like sorry but it isnt the games problem if you cannot live trough 4 seconds of animation after making a mistake and getting caught
It's soppossed to be punishing a little (Which they already fail at in hn2)
So the 4 seconds that send you out of the house are a little punishment for messing up
punishing doesnt equal annoying
