I think the many trees made it look a bit too rural, but dynamic weather should totally be added back. It probably will be in future campaigns where the sandbox gameplay will be implemented.

I think the regularness makes it scarier. If it was overly strange and mysterious it would kind of ruin the mystery and scariness. The excitement of finding this game's secrets is that you're exploring a seemingly average town, but with a twisted underbelly if you go too far.

Yea for some reason you can only really hear birds if you're high up. Nice touch but I don't like that there's zero bird ambience, especially when the mystery and symbolism has a heavy emphasis on ravens.

If you look at any other media like the AS it's clearly not a ghost town, it's pretty urban, and the streets are not densely packed with trees and overgrowth.

They are hinting at a more abandoned and secluded environment for future locations so ig you'll get it in a way
