I’m a console player, and the AI is only decent it’s able to chase you, but you can easily lose it, just run around and jump the AI and it can’t do nothing, meanwhile from what I’ve seen in Patch 6, the AI can actually chase you well, and it’s impossible to juke it, and can still cut corners, all you have to do is go through the bathroom window and run to the kitchen back door and the Mayor will already be there.

Well, I wouldn't say the patches are DESTROYING the AI, that's a bit too much isn't it? Anyways, the issue you have with the AI is it not cutting you off and losing you quickly, right? Well, the AI has gotten a feature where they start walking to you and their speed increases overtime, which should be fine but it seems to not fire correctly everytime. When the AI loses you even for a split second, a frame, and then starts chasing you again the speed up thing triggers again, which makes it look like a navigation issue, it is not, although it is overall quite a big issue. And as for the cutting off, I do agree that completely removing it was unnecessary, although I also think it is just a bug since the cutting off seems to cancel when the speed up thing triggers. I'm pretty sure this stuff will get fixed in the upcoming patches. I hope y'all understand now.

The AI did not really freeze when I played the game on patch 6.

As a console player I play on Xbox and I had gotten deluxe edition and stayed up the night it released to play it. The AI wasn’t great but it was good enough like doing things properly or Gerda seeing the player through open spots on the shelf. Unfortunately when they updated the Xbox version fixing very few issues for some reason the AI got more broken and froze more often and got stuck easily as well as getting stuck in animations and is still that way till now until we get the next patches. As far as I know the AI does cut you off on consoles but it’s only happened in a few places.
