The base game has terrible optimisation, worse out of all the HN games if you ask me. Every HN game works fine for me, even the HN2 beta, HN2 Demo, and heck literally even the DLC places, school and library work PERFECTLY fine for me. But the HN2 Base map, it just doesnt. I cannot even play it. It literally freezes for 5 seconds, every 2 seconds. How do you expect me to beat it. Im stuck in the neighbor's house chapter. Please do something for this. Even in the base game, the intro and the barn chapter works completely fine. Only after I wake up, the problem starts. I literally cannot play the game right now, even in the lowest of settings. Atleast as deluxe edition buyer, I could play the DLCs, but if this happens to a standard edition player, they'd just refund the game. Maybe what you can do is, bring back the resolution bar from the alphas, the one you could scroll instead of selecting. We can reduce the resolution up to 600 something, while the full game resolution setting can reduce only upto 900 something. Tho I dont think lowering the resolution is gonna help, as this is not a problem where you have terrible fps. The problem is the game literally freezes for 5 seconds, you cant do anything for 5 seconds, you can only play for 2 or 3 seconds before it freezes again.
