Free Roam in its current state is practically a worse version of the Beta Build of HN2. The same AIs, but, of course, lacking MANY, MANY things. I'll list a few.
1.) Aggressive Skipper. Now he's practically Imbir 2, and it kind of just ruins his whole role as the Mayor's outside "guard dog". 2.) AI Interactivity. Since Full Release came out, you can do NOTHING to affect the AI's status in any way. You can't make them cold, you can't make them dirty, you can't make them scared, you can't even make them ANGRY. The Beta unironically does all of this much better than the Early Access to the FULL GAME. AIs don't even shower anymore, they just randomly go to a task and decide to "be cold" at random, just like the HN1 AI would do. 3.) The removal of Paint Cans, Window Opening Animations, The Jukebox, and pretty much ALL AI-Interactivity Items. The Mayor doesn't even "dance" anymore, he wont' get scared by a "Scary" Vinyl, he won't get sleepy from a "Sleep" Vinyl, all AI Interactivity has gone out the window for seemingly no reason.
There are other gripes about the current state of the game and ESPECIALLY Free Roam, but I think this will suffice for now.
TL;DR: The Free-Roam is a downgraded version of the Beta with no additional secrets or activities, and in fact has much less to do than even the Beta.
#Free Roam just isn't worth it right now.

i mean they could just update the game on December 6th
and add all the stuff you just said
Highly doubting that 5 days will add back everything but who knows
If this is the case, then it seems like the early access is being used to test the basics of the AI and the houses. Hopefully they're just doing this as a playtest, which is what the game file is called, isn't it?
No, the game file is "Hello Neighbor 2 Beta", they just reused the Beta directory for some reason lol
Oh, I see. Maybe they just replaced the beta build with this one. Either way, it seems older than the beta build. That makes me think there's more to the game than what's been released.
