The Guest doesn't seem to be a person.

I have reason to believe he is, in-fact, a creature itself. And evidence supports this.

It's very noteworthy stating that during the Guest's catching animation, he opens "his mask" to reveal a tongue and throat. Not to mention the clicking noises are very peculiar and inhuman.

The Guest is, quite possibly, a Schnabelperchten. Not only do they look alike, but they have violent tendencies as well.

Act 3 and 4 of Hello Neighbor were confirmed to not be taking place in a subconcious dream, rather actually happening. Making the Thing a real and existing entity, and quite possibly the main antagonist of Secret Neighbor. The neighbor has never killed kids on purpose in the past. And I challenge anyone here to find a man that can make kids go missing by causing them to slowly disappear.

The Neighbor, when defeated in Secret Neighbor, becomes snakes of darkness and the figure of the Thing is visible for a second. More than likely, Mr. Peterson is not who we see in Secret Neighbor. Further proof is that humans can't become boxes and other objects. Why is the Thing relevant?

Because it's safe to assume it's a demon that is disturbing residence of Raven Brooks. Despite the many inaccuracies of the Neighbor's Notebook, it is one of the few pieces of lore regarding the Thing. Again, it's safe to assume The Thing is a demon.

Schnabelperchten also, from what I've researched, tend to have displeasure of demons as a whole. I can only assume the Guest is lurking about because it wishes to rid the Thing of Raven Brooks, which is a reason the Guest has a dislike for Mr. Peterson who is a victim under The Thing's wing.

Interesting enough to note, both the Thing and the Guest have kidnapped children. Almost as if the children are important for something. Like a source of power or something like that.

Another thing of importance is the Crow's name; the Guest. As if his visit is temporary and for a specific reason. Perhaps if the Guest is able to get rid of The Thing, it would leave Raven Brooks and only return if necessary.

assuming this book is taking place near act 3, and the fact the town people like to burn things down that represent tragedies (like the park), its likely its the citizens who burned it down. Unless I missed smth or someone has a better theory
