Here is how I think it goes in the begining of hn2 so far: The police arrived to Mr Peterson’s house after Nicky called them. Nicky has been acting weird before Act 1, so the police can’t confirm if he’s telling the truth, until they go to Mr. Peterson’s house. Mr. Peterson escapes the police and heads to the Manor. He takes Aaron with him. He traps Aaron in a room in the manor. The police search the Peterson house, but Mr Peterson had already cleaned up, so they didn’t find anything. Dragging the suspicion off of Mr Peterson. Quentin believes Mr. Peterson has Aaron and Mya in the Manor.

I think a storm happens after that, but idk who causes the storm of anything like that, so that’s all I have so far lol.

Since Mya is dead, Aaron must be in the manor then.

It resets to a certain time, but you can keep creating new timelines by just doing other things, you aren’t actually making a new timeline, but each time it resets as long as you remember, you may not age, but you can change eveything, only until it resets though.

So if the neighbor left raven brooks and came back, people would just think something happened to him, so people would think he’s missing, over and over, but since everyone thinks he’s dead, him leaving won’t effect anything. Only effecting the people who remember, since Piper has seen him as the guest before.
