Honestly depends, The Guest is the only character who seems to just be different across media so it could be anything, but though the story is supposedly grounded, my guess is something to do with that Mayak Pit, knowing that The Guests is commonly tied to the Mayak Storms and how Mayak and The Guest will be a central part of S3 that’s my idea.

I have a theory. I think that Ike Quentin Gershowitz, who we know from the books is a security guard, is Quentin's dad. I think in Hello Neighbor 2 we play as a Ike's son, who was named after his father, because, as we also know, Ike is ded, and also Quentin works for the Raven Brooks Banner and isn't a security guard. And Beatrix was revealed in HN2 to be Quentin's sister.
