To be fair on that, in the books when she was mean, it was because she was paranoid (and just a stupid kid) but she still cared more clearly for her friends and brother, TV show maritza is just pretty rude for no reason (I still like her though)

Ok so i have a theory about ike gershowitz and Quentin

So after ike's daughter went missing he was so greef stricken that he probably sent Quentin to live with a relative in the city. Ike stayed in raven brooks in hopes the beatrix may one day return. He got a job as the forest security guard so he can continue searching for her. he finds out more about the forest protectors and keeps digging but we all know how that ends... but the reason i believe Quentin moved back to his home town to investigate a random a random missing person case is because those missing kids belong to his dads best friend and they remind him of his sister and himself. He felt so awful for losing his little sister in the woods that we is willing to risk his life to save two kids he doesn't even know
