I’ve only read two of the books but in grave mistakes the mayors family and the Peterson’s have had a long vendetta ever since the parents of Theodore burnt down the old Apple amusement park. So the guest has to have some connection to the mayor. There is this one character called cleave, who is stated to be big and intimidating. Cleave and the mayor have some type of relationship which we don’t really get too many details about. Since the guest thing is a cult proven by HN2, and the fact that cleave is kind of ordering the mayor around, I think Cleave is the guest. Even though it was stated that cleave was arrested during grave mistakes, I believe that cleave got out of jail either by parol or he broke out. I think he is the character that hit Quentin in the head at the end of HN2. Thus, I think cleave is the guest

Well the story's are kinda self-contained so it's hard telling

(it'd help if we had any sort of idea what was actually contained in the Raven Brooks Archive Book at the end of the Library DLC)

I personally go with Library then School but School then Library is a possible order

and I don't think we've been given any official statements on the order

I always assumed Quentin goes to the library to get the Archive so he can get more information about the town

What if he goes to the school to get information about the missing kids? (İt says something like "find the student dossiers" in quentins journal)

(which you'd think would indicate Library DLC is after School since why would Quentin not know but at the same time we don't know how recent the events the RB Archives Book would contain are)

(and the school seems to still be open after AS Episode 6 if teasers are to be believed)

(So unless the books is VERY RECENT it wouldn't mention the School shutting down)

this is the only thing that suggests a order to the DLCs but even it requires a assumption that the Archives Book has information up to the present day

I'd say the more logical thing is School then Library but I'm still going with Library then School unless they add something that makes the DLC timeline order clearer

heck until recently we thought the School DLC didn't even happen until after the main story

(thank the Intros for the DLCs for clearing that one up)

Both DLCs were released unfinished

and they rushed to make a proper ending for Late Fees

that's why the book isn't readable, because they took control from the people who made the DLCs (Steel Wool) and then tried to finish them up after being told the ending for one wasn't finished (it didn't even work properly in-game!)

The School DLC was basically finished, the only thing that was removed was a single room that was unfinished in the launch build and some photos of the Janitor

How do we even know this? The Demo they released had leftover files of a early (or should I say later) version of the School DLC, and files showed the Library DLC Cutscenes that weren't used in-game telling us the DLCs were released unfinished

heck not even the secret lore-filled website (which is now public knowledge) has anything telling us the order of the DLCs
