ill try to summarize

Piper is a girl whos around 14 years old. her, her mother, and her sister Delia move to Raven Brooks because Pipers dad dies and they are out of money. Luckily, their aunt, Mrs. Tillman (The grocery store owner from the books that aaron and nicky prank) dies but lets Piper inherit her old grocery store, which has a small apartment on top of it that she slept in. So the family has no choice but to move to RB, but at first they can't get in since theres a brick wall surrounding the town, but they barely get in through the woods. when they get in, an angry mob chases them into i believe its maritzas house if i remember correctly but idk. to make a long story short, enzo and maritzas parents died and enzo went missing. ever since enzo went missing on i think november 2nd, time keeps resetting itself. once november 10th hits, it resets to the 2nd, almost treated as a holiday called Reset Day. so its like a time loop. again to make a long story short, when trying to get out of RB, piper, delia and their mom find a crack in the brick wall and escape into the woods where they smell fire. in the book, the guest emits the smell of fire. so anytime he is nearby, they smell fire. they get attacked by the guest, which now has teeth and no costume anymore, and get saved by enzos relative who owns a repair shop. the next morning, their mom leaves early to go help the kid who saved them. but she never returns, and the kid says she left hours ago. piper gets a text from a mysterious profile with a crow as its pfp, saying "where are u gonna run now little rabbit? shes gone" and a picture of mr peterson

implying the guest did whatever it did to enzo, to pipers mom

The mannequins are also sentient yes and they can die. They tally days next to them, one in the sandbox is depressed and has been drinking which is funny

The Forest Protestor summoned him and called him “The Guest” because he’s invited to this town and “Unwanted guest” who stalks in someone house and made someone’s loved went disappeared and went missing. Mr. Peterson are just a unhinged and mental insane person who lost important people (his wife and daughter) The Guest use his body and mind to do something and made him do terrible things. Because Mr. Peterson made a contract with The Guest to use his body. After Mr. Peterson started noticed that something’s not right, he doesn’t see or remember everything after The Guest did things. He betrayed Guest. Guest was looking for the revenge and plans to threaten him by kill him, But instead of it He helped Mr. Peterson’s son Aaron and possessed Aaron then saved Nicky, by open the door.

But it was hinted long time ago in the book

“The Raven Brooks Disaster” book

Three years trying to solve The Guest’s lore and I just literally finally solved it entire
