ok, so here's a quick summary for people who want to keep their sanity and collect the storylines

• HN(1) storyline (the basic one with an ending where Neighbor most likely ended his life, quote me on this)
• HG storyline (mayak with actual purpose, Guestbor, rotm, guards, detective) it was supposed to connect to HN's, because the same guy made it.
• HN2 storyline (I ignored the alphas and betas because it's impossible to follow along, it is the final game only, which is partly based on books by the looks of things)
• whatever the comics were up to (you shouldn't do very drastic things in comics which are based on games and are supposed to be additonal spinoffs, #1 writer rule. big part of the community won't buy them, because it is a GAME franchise.)
• books lore (HN but not exactly, because it has SN kids) - SN later partly ties to the books lore as a spinoff, which had to become canon.
• HE storyline (a bit like SN, kids pov)
• cartoon storyline (which has 1 fan)

and then whatever the HNVR storyline is up to, but it's worth noting, that it's kids' pov as well
