so that means that visually the guest looks the same no matter who it possesses

1. already in the beginning, we meet the Guest, shapeshifting. it is not Peterson. (simply because he is too ooc). Guest (bruh) has his memories and his regrets and wants to take revenge on the town, because he is evil and why not.
2. Guest kills him underwater. he dies, which is HILARIOUS,because you don't kill him off like that. just don't. and then, Guest shapeshifts as him, and tries to harm the girls.

and then here is the realistic answer about Neighbor's death: he probably committed suicide both in the HN final version, and earlier storyline too. I'd go with that. the topic was on table earlier in the game, so this is the strongest possibility. I don't want to see old Petersons, or some random story with him being 124534 years old and still alive. he ended it, let's say it honestly.
