and also in the gray area of "Was this even the intended answer to what happens after HN2"

But it seems like Aaron lights the Neighbor/His Dad's house on fire after HN2 (based off a old statement that Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek would reveal who burnt down the house and him being the only character in HNHS who is both alive at the end of the game and would have a reason for doing so) and ends up dead somehow (based off Theodore talking as if he(Aaron) was dead along with the rest of his family in Graphic Novel #2)

But still not only this but pretty much everything we thought we ever knew about this franchise pre-HN2 is now in the gray area of is it canon still or not thanks to the Animated Series

Act 2 from HN1 happens which leads into the intro for the game

Where Quentin witnesses Theodore taking Aaron back into the house by force

Theodore smashes Quentin's window after locking Aaron up, and Quentin drives away only to crash into a barn because the Guest popped up out of nowhere

After getting out of the Barn Theodore knocks Quentin out, taking his camera in the process to make sure as little evidence against him would be out there as possible

Between the Intro and Day 1 a unknown figure takes Quentin back to the Banner, and Nicky (+ The Rescue Squad) report Mr.Peterson to the cops

First of all, Otto is a Cultist, the reason the journalist died is because he saw what the Cultist were doing, he was most likely the one who made the VHS Tapes, which Otto as a Cultist would have to kill him, and would keep the picture up to not alert suspicion.

He probably regretted doing it but he had to do it

I’m not saying it was Otto who did it, but the fact that Otto is a cultist, and the journalist died to them makes it very possible.

what I really liked in the books, is how weirdly the book 3 ending played out, how meaningless it was from plot pov, that Nicky had "friends" (he still broke in alone anyway), and I liked Ike later, and Norman Darby's character

Nicky did the same as in HN (except he wanted to slaughter Neighbor, he literally broke in to the house alone and with rage haha funny, then he figured out the truth, luckily)
