Their missing posters seem aged (they're more yellow) which would make sense since one of them is, well, dressed as the mascot of an old amusement park (guest kid)

So my sort of idea was that it was during the hype of golden apple

On Halloween they go to his house, and for whatever reason lures them in and kills them

I've had 2 main headcanons for the Trick or Treaters
1.) They're an old missing kids case from probably back when Ted was a kid if not earlier (since the papers we see them on are faded, yellow, and are in a entirely different style to the recent missing posters.) And we may not even solve what happened to them.
2.) Same as the first, but the 3 kids end up being town residents as kids, they ended up ditching their costumes to trick the Guest and allowing them to escape. The "trick or treaters" were never found and their costumes were put on display in the Museum. (Less likely to the first one)

this neighbor seems to me because in the ending of both alphas it was hinted at very strongly. In Alpha 1, it was the raven suit that was lying there. and no other. later, when Theodore arrives, he sees this costume with us. In alpha 1.5, at the end, we put candy in a bag. there is a little crow behind the door and then our beloved neighbor appears instead of him.

It's not really, just based on appearances and ages at least. I'd have to say that Theodore appearing in place of the Guest Kid meant they were both under some kind of influence of The Guest

I have a theory about hello neighbor 2, it lies in the fact that in museum is not a neighbor, but a guest, because at the very beginning we see how the neighbor leaves the city, and at the end we see the guest in the attic plus for the entire time of the game, we see the guest only at the beginning, and then he disappears.
