You will still see that message with the patch but now you can actually continue to search for games. Regardless of how much you keep seeing failed to connect, keep searching and you'll eventually get a lobby

They should add all the upgrade machines back. As the neighbor you will be able to transform from the start but not sprint. The first upgrade should be allowing the neighbor to sprint. Since each upgrade after that will increase your stamina. Its a good idea I think.
