IMO, it feels a little new player unfriendly because there's no skill based matchmaking, so you're going against experienced players, but stick with it and you'll learn quickly enough to do well. Then it's more fun.

It took me way too long to start maining Detective, but he's such a good class?? You can find keys so quickly.
It helped me realise on Amusement Park, you don't even need to go to the house. There's usually 4 keys in the 1 area, and at least 2 in the 2 area.

If you want a tip, and if you don't already know this, keys only spawn in the areas past the first keycard doors.
The starting, level 0 area you spawn in never has keys, so the photos will never point to somewhere in there, they'll always show to somewhere past a keycard door.

the playerbase itself is very low being separated like that

you will have more luck if you play on Switch or Playstation
