That's the intended way to do it.

Since you can't capture any kids if you don't transform, your only other (intended) option is the timer.

I did it by hiding all the keycards to area 1 on amusement park. The Inventor didn't make any, weirdly, and nobody did the skips, so I could just wait out the timer.
In theory, because of the skips, the other maps are probably better (you might want to be detective to scan for keycards first).

I and someone I know unlocked it on the first try, so I know it's possible to unlock. You might need to try some more times, but that's really unlucky 💔

I got it straight away. But sometimes achievements in general (not specifically SN) can take a while.
I know some games on Xbox can take days for their achievements to appear, and Steam can (less frequently, I think) be slow to send them sometimes, too.

No, you must get the achievement by not turning into neighbor or respawning . Open the basement door and guard it, dont let anyone in and that's how you get the achievement. I was in the same situation as you but this is probably another way since you can't transform "even once per match" although that doesn't have to do with the actual mission. Just try it
All you're really gotta do is hope that you get a full lobby full of new players and lure them anywhere then they get lost. It's best to block doors with glue traps incase

The amount of sn dreams i had with unique ideas is neat, I had the ideas of a water park map, bundles (skin bundles, not for actual money.), multiplayer level editor, a map 5 overhaul with skins for all classes (Farmer Enzo, Neighbor suit and tie to name a few) and minigames in it that youd complete for prizes, and the most interesting one imo was unique singleplayer games like having to take down all cameras without being seen, and a gamemode where you had to hide as a prop away from the neighbor for 5 minutes for a reward.
Then you get weird ideas like getting battery acid from the level up bathtubs- I should really make feedback and concepts based off of my SN dreams.

Save kids, break traps, get the keys and use keycards. Always win and get through the basement door for the 200XP (100 for winning, 100 for escaping, so if the others are about to win and you're dead, don't quit so you can get the 100 for winning).
The rest depends on your character.
For Brave, use counter strike once every game, since using it at least once gives you an extra 100XP.

I think I use the smoke bomb one, the one that increases throw range/strength (it charges the throw bar faster) and I forget the other. I can check later, but they work well for me.

I think there also needs to be something to prevent constant spamming of it as well, maybe the effect would lessen every croak in a certain time frame as well so not only would there be a cooldown but it's better used strategically rather than spamming
Going from the stun and dropping all items, to just stun and dropping your held item, to only doing the eqivulant of a short stun.
I also never liked how the guest could immendiately just keep jumping around to grab explorers, kind of like how ghost used to (and still kind of does) goes invulnerable just to close in on a explorer and immediately grab them.

You have to get the violin, hamster ball and the bracelet, then you're able to do the event with the ghost.
The hamster ball is on Space, bracelet is on Missing or Wanted and the violin and the rest of the event are on Amusement Park.
It's why you're able to get out of the map on Amusement Park, where the houses are.

Don't have flashlight or lamp in your inventory eat chocolate bar spam unequip and equip until chocolate bar ability runs out then you should be holding the sauce pan but the game thinks it on your head so you need to break it either damage by players or bear traps and when it's broken it should say take on the sauce pan and then you pick it up put your inventory slot on the broken sauce pan icon and then grab any item (other than a light) and then drop that item on the ground while running

There's a separate saucepan glitch (not the one that makes you fly) that can crash people. It crashes everyone but two people, if I remember correctly, and doesn't crash people on PC. It might just be an Xbox bug, if people don't see it on other platforms.
