I think the guest has a small range of sonar, a stun ability, and the ability to jump towards things and grab onto walls but I'm not completely sure.

Guest has a sound sonar that the longer he uses it the longer range it is (if I recall right)
A croak that stuns and makes explorers drop their items if they're affected by fear/seen the guest
A far jump/leap that depending if you hit the skill button or not will let you grab onto walls, but either way you'll drop all items you're carrying when jumping.
There's also a secret bonus that Guest will not be stunned by or take any fall damage, unlike other neighbors

Its not like a sonar, it work like this: You hold R ( by default its r ), and guest start see kids ( and lamps ) that do sounds across the map. Guest will be unable to move and make loud noises.
And its shows you the sound, but not the player excatly. Its kinda hard to explain, better to test it out in the game or watch videos on YouTube.

Scary Neighbor is brute force
Clown is either for sneakier kills or smokebomb spam
Butcher is long-range
Ghost and Guest is mobility
Taxidermist is for a shotgun.

I like varying from times to times, but Scary Neighbor is probably the easiest for me to play

he has two abilities and neither of them help when everyone is attacking you
