The changes are scheduled to start in January of next year. All developers who have released a Unity product and has profited off of it, according to the monetization threshold that they've listed, will be force to pay Unity a certain amount. Let's be honestly, TB likes to make money, I mean just look at the HN franchise. So they're most likely going to take the ladder, I mean, why lose money when you could move to another engine which could possibly help make you more money?
