yeah i've had that opinion for a while, the second i noticed it was a thing it was something i wanted out

it's one of those things that really contribute to my opinion that this game hasn't adapted much to the players who abuse every mechanic

Here's my idea:

• normal early game ambience(s) play when there are 3 - 5 kids left. This ambience remains the same and doesn't increase or get more intense
• During the time there are only 2 kids left, or the time the crow will usually mark the key, a new ambient track plays (the can call the track Crow Marks The Key). This track would be more intense than the normal ambience.
• Final child ambience would be for the final kid obviously that won't change
• And then a specific track for when the basement is open. (Honestly just bring back the old basement open ambience for this, it did not need to be removed)

Thats how I see ambience should work

And then there's also environmental ambience which is just like crickets playing in the background if you go outside or if its the rain weather type you hear the wind blowing

He feels like he's barely involved in the game, it feels like key searching simulator by yourself for ages until someone actually makes a move

And when you do see him there's no fear, since you can just beat him up with items

imagine this: you're on map 5 and the neighbor threw every lvl. 1 keycard, crowbar etc. away or put them in his neighbor room, so there's basically nothing you can do to progress.

So basically the neighbor starts off in the neighbor room in the neighbor chair for 30 seconds, then he is released, but he can't transform he us always in neighbor form. Kids can't pick up items but can use doors and vents abd have on a flashlight saucepan. The kids need to power up bathtubs to open up the basement.

• However things are different: the neighbor is blind so he can't see players and when he sees his surroundings everything is in gray. However the neighbor has the crow sense ability but its always active (you don't need to pause to activate it) and has a slightly smaller range

The neighbor can see walking and running on the crow sense but not sneaking, and he can't see walking unless close enough

But whenever a kid is running he gets a ping icon on the kid so if you run he will always know where you are

He is also faster than the kids so if you end up needing to run he will catch up unless you use a vent or go around a corner and start sneaking since you are invisible while sneaking

Everytime a power up tub is fully activated the neighbor gets a ping to its location

Also the kids have heavy bones and a slingshot with a 20 second cooldown so if you do get caught its easy to save you if someone is nearby but you can only shoot 1 nut every 20 seconds so don't get caught again

This is inspired by another asymmetric game called In Silence but I think this would be a fun game mode

I might make this in a feedback post but I want to think a little more on it
