I always pictured something with SN (impossible with the way the game works now and the current 15 min match times) where the neighbor could sit in his chair and watch the camera monitors

But the randomization does it now anyway so...

feel like those kinds of people rely entirely on their assumptions of what the game should be and "common sense" even when the games they play propose very abstract concepts

like after playing enough video games you'll have to realize that there are limitations and should probably take some time to learn about them

though tbf sn did a pretty poor job of explaining the mechanics that aren't class specific / fundamental to the core of the game for a while

Basically if its a good player, they will usually throw the item instantly after you see them swing the item, like the small animation when you are holding down RMB and about to throw the item. So once you see them swinging the item about to throw then wait like half a second and use it. By this half second the item is coming at you and using it now will deflect

Your reaction time would have to be insane to be able to deflect an item thats already coming for you

So just know when they are about to throw the item

With new players they usually hold down RMB for a while until they are confident enough to let go and throw the item

So you don't know when they will throw it

Also with many try hard players, they usually jump right before they throw an item too, if you notice them do this then use the bat ability

Anyway thats just how I go about using the bat ability
