to that angle i think the neighbor needs to be better at chasing, even if that sounds contradictory

i think the biggest difficulty in making sn work well is finding the balance between having a reason for the neighbor to blend in, and finding a reason for the kids to split up without it being an easy win for the neighbor

cause imagine this scenario: Ur the neighbor and there are 2 braves left, the stay right next to each other, what is the neighbor suppose to do ( and they also have a functional brain)

i would like children to be given some kind of penalty while they are near a neighbor that would get bigger and bigger over time
it would make the kids not fight with the neighbor and just try to run away from him

then the ability to attack will become something to slow ability

stamina in these games is a minus for survivors

also i wonder why the neighbor can't use his left hand, only right

i think there's a lot of things that could be done to improve the game, but it's hard to explain it all

overall though i don't think we need mechanics to hard punish the kids for sticking together or fighting, but more of social reasons

i really like the idea of both sides having some sort of progression, and in early game splitting up is the ideal way to go about that because if you stick together often you'll:

1: slow down progression in travelling through the house
2: give the neighbor more opportunity to level up, and make him much more powerful than you are

even if the neighbor gets caught out early if you stick together, he'll be able to overpower you because he has more control over where he can go and will be able to destroy the kids in fights since they didn't upgrade in time

i don't know super specifically how it would be implemented either, but i think the summer update is going in the right direction with randomization throwing off your usual memory of the house

Would be cool if the night vision goggles highlighted traps or other players or something. The flashlight saucepan is still useful because of its extra protection and being able to hold other items while still having light light your way

Funny story about mobile

I did not let this neighbor catch me for 8 min as brave and he left and I heard his mic and he sounded frustrated

Anyway my idea was: when you kill a kid you get a peice of their soul or their energy or smth. Using this allows you to form another ability that will be put in an extra slot in the UI. This ability can be any ability from any of the neighbor's other than ghost or guest abilities

The ability can only be used once

And each time you kill a kid you get a different ability

i suppose for that you could use the touch pad thingy in the middle if that isn't used for anything either, though that could create a weird hurdle for people switching platforms as that would throw off the muscle memory a bit, but it would technically work
