I love chases in SN. I know I can only run or outsmart them, which is usually what I do. I'll run around them and stun them to juke them. Then after a while I'll block doors or hid behind a door and stealth around them

It is easy for some people to spam the neighbor and kill him, but I'm not that good, I'm pretty casual of a player

they're especially great during 1v1s or 2v1s since there likely won't (or never) be anyone around to save you after a dumb mistake

though i generally prefer chases from a scary, clown, or butcher since with ghost and guest it's a bit of a 1 sided interaction in most cases, not impossible to win the 1v1 but you're usually boned if you have one of those two on you constantly

Because they can experience in front of you making you have to change direction

Like if they leap infront of you you run the other way

And then sometimes bait them into leaping and then joking them

guest players tend to be very over-reliant on the leap so i don't find dodging them that hard, but because of his abilities you won't really have any time to search for keys without worry of an ambush

also when people talk about stealth in sn they're usually referring to playing as the neighbor, obviously you can do some stealthy shit as a kid because your footsteps are way quieter and don't make obnoxiously loud sound effects for every other thing you do

you can't even use the bookcases stealthy (by that I mean ambush players from exiting and then catching them), cuz they are really loud.

remember when there wasn't a sound for it

and you can hear the radar from in there.

doing stealth plays as neighbor isn't impossible either (though you mostly pull them off in 1v1 chases) but it's a lot harder when he has very loud whooshing sounds and panting and other such things, in order to get a good ambush after you've already transformed for the first time the kids really need to be pre-occupied with something in order for it to work, and that gets increasingly harder the more paranoid of you they are

it's also just probably not gonna work if the kids are in a group unless you can manipulate around the terrain fantastically since otherwise, they'll hit you with an item to free the person you ambushed and would you look at that, it's back to fighting

i don't mean to be a negativity thriving contrarian with this by the way, just offering some alternative viewpoints
just so happens to be negative / critical ones often since i agree with a lot of peoples' issues with the game 💀
