Even Project Playtime is doing better at listening to the community than SN. The game just came out and us in early access and they are already sending g out surveys about what should add next

it seems as though there may not be a ton of time left for that realization to happen either, since the roadmap for future content ends at summer of next year, no mentions of next halloween or christmas

ok so heres my idea for blocking: the neighbor can block for 2 seconds similar to braves bat so you would have to time it. while blocking the neighbor is as slow as when carrying a kid and can only crouch. if you successfully blocked an item you will get a bit of health back.

ghost can stall out games quite easily, and usually a kid in the group will decide to go off on their own and search for keys, you can hop off from the main group and get them. the kids will either have to play more sloppily in order to get keys or risk having the timer run out

guest is designed to take advantage of his environment, use ledges and jump off heights when you can to secure kills

also dont use your stamina as much when you have high health so that you have more time to make an escape when you get lower health

prioritize which classes you're going for, use items (like milk) as you mentioned, and if you're getting owned then make the priority getting to a better position

tryhard kids will usually like to follow you to try and finish the job, and you can take advantage of that to get to an environment where you have more cover that you can use

also a couple random tips: spam tapping the run button doubles your stamina, and items will generally phase through you if you're standing a breath's distance away from the person who's throwing the item

and they'll probably come running back towards you if you make your presence known, besides them running away means they're not item spamming you, and if they're a certain distance away that allows you to get your health back

i use the bad item colisions and sometimes go throw kids and it worked many times altough you just have to go a bit more far away from the neighbor

i'll typically use the strat of walking right into a kid when im just about to finish grabbing someone, they wont have enough time to take a couple steps back

even if i get health back the cycle will be repeated of them item spamming me and then the kids running away once they realize they can't kill and wasting time trying to kill me and then search keys in groups and opening the basement door.

weird thing i've noticed, people in this game aren't usually that coordinated

like if you're not up against a full group that know each other and use voice chat, some guy will decide to split up at some point

i play with friends most of the item and i can win against them most of the time but there's also good ones that beat me sometimes.

however i won't deny that playing neighbor absolutely sucks when everyone is at peak skill level, i played with a group that all has at least 1K hours and none of us got more than 2 kills in any match

Yeah everything I’ve read so far says secret neighbor has cross platform compatibility, but I haven’t found anywhere that it’s only specific to certain platforms or that it’s only for consoles and not mobile.

Yeah the iPad version is different. It doesn’t have the holiday update and you have to accumulate coins to get the other characters and neighbors. You start out with just the bagger and the regular neighbor

i always used to say that detective was my worst class in secret neighbor. but that was back when i had only recently got the game. i used to say stuff like "i cant find the key from "the key is in a locker"." but now i know that you have to look deeper than just the things around the key in the image. and i am now proud to say that i am no longer a brave main but now a detective main.

I think amount of coins shouldn't be just amount of keys unlocked, instead it should be both Neighbor hits and keys unlocked
