My go to strat is jut to immediately run to the roof and loot there first, but it really shouldn't be possible, especially since it also gives you access to the kitchen, the jail, the gym and the greenhouse

you can jump on top of the greenhouse keycard door and from there get to the level 3 area

I tested this a while ago and it's possible to beat Map 1 without using a single keycard, ridiculous

Ive been seeing people talk about how keycards slow down the game too much but without them people wouldnt even need to do these skips, they would just have instant access to the areas you guys are complaing about that people get to way to early

and also because of the halloween decoration that's on the first floor of map 1, you can do this skip to get to the theatre room / general level 1 area near instantly

you can access the entirety of map 1, almost every room in map 2, 3, and 5 without keycards

map 4 is the only map that's built solid enough to not really have many notable skips, unfortunately its also the smallest map so it doesnt help much

If keycards are going to stick around (im not necessarily a fan) then here is an idea.

All windows in locked areas are gated until the room/area has been opened. Instead have locked doors with keycard levers next to them, and when you activate one and pull each lever, the door becomes useable and the gates in the area lift allowing window access (maybe not every window though)

It would fix like 80% of the shortcuts in game

the whole idea is to encourage the kids to stick with the Leader, but give the neighbor a bunch more tools to seperate kids
that way the neighbor can easily disguise himself as a kid and worm his way into the group to mislead / deter them

and each kid has their own disadvantages
EG: the bagger would be slower when running and make more noise, Detective would get scared easily (hearing false noises of the neighbor/ footsteps) and have blurred / distorted vision when seeing the neighbor

I'm not necessarily sure how this would be solved but I don't really like having both Scout and Brave as heavy-combat classes, I feel like one of them definitely needs to be reworked to have a new set of abilities (probably Scout)

And the Neighbor variety, you were able early on to mix and match different abilities, rather than whole different classes

It was goofy and great, open world loot and shoot with battle royale elements. When you die you become a zombie and have to hunt down players.
The Players can go anywhere, but by the end you NEED to be on the train. But the zombies can attack you from all angles there.
