So I was exploring out of bounds of HN3 Pre-Alpha, and I'm honestly a little bit disappointed that they got rid of extra explorable areas and replaced it with a "fake ground" that you fall through. :< I understand if it's because they're focusing more on Raven Brooks and trying to make it more unique, I also kinda miss exploring the out of bounds areas from Prototype 3 and even seeing the cool buildings, I would also REALLY enjoy heading towards the City looking area in the distance even if it's nothing more than some flat textures too!! That's just my opinion, though. 🙂

Agreed, though ironically, I play on Steam Deck OLED, and even on the LOWEST settings, the Pre-Alpha just barely goes above 40-50 FPS. I'm on the lowest settings, but it still lags REALLY rough, though unless I'm not looking AT Raven Brooks, it actually runs VERY smoothly. I would honestly REALLY enjoy it if they made the FPS or optimization run really well for most systems in the future too. 🙂

Possibly, but it would be kinda lore-inaccurate because Coned's cone literally has the forest protector cult symbol drawn on top. And considering that the forest protectors worship a humanoid birdman (which the guest pretty much looks like), at least he's most definitively a worshiper.

(Also, isn't the whole town technically worshipping the guest? There are local traditions surrounding him, posters of him everywhere, and a festival in his name.)

To be honest, I don't think it's THAT hard. There are maps of the park littered around everywhere, the ice cream booth is on number 8 on the map, flashlights are scattered around, the booth is right next to the giant wheel, you can take two paths of lamp posts and there are only one/two hard choke points where the guest can catch you.

I've made theories on him, but I can't be 100% if I know anything. I personally think that the guest who chases us is a guy with gigantism (I know, I too wished it could be Aaron, but my theory focuses more on reality facts) due to his stretched length and weird noises (which might be a result of a pituitary tumor pressing against his brain, common in some people with gigantism.). Meanwhile, I think that the other guest who is a statue could actually be a god judging by the Prototype 3 ending (At first I thought it was a prank by some sort of vandal/cultist we haven't seen in-game, just camping at the weather station to turn a weather changing device on and off (as like a way to manipulate the townsfolk into believing that the guest is real). The townsfolk build a statue of the guest/forest dweller, start waving their hands and chanting like it's a ritual and the storm just STOPS entirely, but then the neighbour knocks down the statue and the rain intensifies back to a storm. (Sure, HN3 definitely could be a more grounded story, but from all we've got for now regarding the statue, there isn't any other explanation besides the supernatural.)
