I get that people had massive issues with UE5 (and still do) (and I do too) but Lumen performance has been getting better with 5.5 and 5.6, and a lot of the bad performance wasn't necessarily Lumen itself but other bad optimization practices from devs (like a certain game having trees with like hundreds of thousands of polygons in the distance)
And also usually Lumen in games is cranked all the way up but you can get decent results and still performant by just lowering some of the settings

It would be cool if their was a fire mechanic where there would be two new items: matches and lighters. They would both set objects on fire gradually taking away their health. However if an npc notices fire on their property or important locations to them, they would put it out with a fire extinguisher. matches would be less durable than lighters

Subject: A question about weather

Hi Nikita, I see that you are trying really hard, and you are doing very well. My question is: "Will the weather change randomly?"

What I mean: Could it randomly start raining early in the morning and continue until the evening, or will the rain intensify towards the evening? Also, and this is very important and why I thought of this question - will there be fog or an overcast sky?

Let me explain: I went out for a walk with my dog today, and it was overcast outside - like a white veil, clouds covered the sky, the sun doesn't hurt your eyes, it's not dark, not cold, just perfect! And there was also fog - just excellent fog, I'm not joking, I don't even know how to describe it, it's just something wonderful! So, I'm walking and I see, because of the fog, power line supports appear, and wires are hanging right from them, stretching for a very long time to the next support.

So, will there be fog, overcast skies, light snow, thunderstorms (without rain), drizzling rain, and other types of "bad", gloomy, atmospheric weather? And will there be heat, clear skies, or just small clouds that are already present at the moment?

I hope the question will be answered soon!

(The question in short: Will the weather change randomly, and will it depend on the time of day? Also, what types of weather do you want to add?)

I can picture the historian climbing a dizzyingly tall ladder in an old section of a library grabbing a heavy red book and dropping it into a cart below. As she descends the ladder she leaves a note in the books place, after all, she won't be returning this book for a very long time. She rolls the cart over to a nearby desk and proceeds to light a candle as she lays the book out in front of her, she sighs to herself as she barely manages to open the ancient archive.
