I'm not promising release of the prototype. We really want for people to experience the game (even in a very rough prototype form) but also we want to people not treat it as a game. Cuz usually when you give people very rough prototype, people often think that THIS IS THE GAME and it spoils it for everyone.
What I want is to share as much as we can about current prototype stage via Devlog 2 and if our prototype is OK-ish for a public, we'll share (do not treat it as a promise)

pro would be that this way you guys could find hidden bugs or hidden things that you have to fix in a later build

Problem is non-developer people do not know what exactly prototype is. You can write anything in the beginning, people still won't understand. And thats ok since they are not developers and don't have to understand these stuff.
In our care pros would be that we get to know what people feel about gameplay at a rough stage. It can be helpful.
Cons would be that people are do not care and will be disappointed. It's like showing a rough sketch to an artist and rough sketch to non-artist. You got to be very mindful with what you show.
But I am still leaning towards giving something to play with, rather just show stuff. Trying to figure out the best way.
Ideally we will explain current stage and what it's for in the Devlog 2 and THEN give something to play with, so people have some context. Will see.
