Originally it was a creature like a big raven, with plumage and everything, but after a bunch of restarts (myak) it lost its power.
Eventually in my storyline, this character prevents restarting the timeline something won't completely dissolve

Because he has no plumage, the character is freezing. He has to find clothes just to stay warm

that's why he likes to warm himself by the fire. (ew, actually this idea even fits the original hg...)

I thought of the cause of retcons and contradiction being the time loop as well, but from what I have heard from the members in this server, Nikita confirmed that it doesn't involve time loop and multiverse which makes connecting the lore unnecessarily more difficult and frustrating.
