For that price I would not expect a lot from it
But it is what it is, if it gets you fishing then I suppose it's good enough
i mean i just wanna try fly fishing and i thought since i dont wanna commit too much this might be good just to try
Might be worth checking out the second hand market too
@woeful parcel I honestly think it’s kind of short for being a 5/6wt. I would go more like 9 ft, but it just depends on the kind of water you’re fishing.
High-quality Fladen ready-made fly set with floating WF #6 line.
The rod is a 3-part, 270 cm long rod that can be easily controlled even by a beginner. The reel is light and has a very smooth brake. The #6 set is very suitable for the beginner fly fisherman and is suitable for fishing the most common noble fish, such as trout and rainbow trout.
Fladen's familiar price-quality ratio!
what do u think about this?
i have never even tried fly fishing so i dont know anything
i know some stuff but i have never actually tried it
I mean I can't really tell you much from a picture but I don't have any reason to believe you'd go wrong with it
what kind of water are you fishing
It is, because it's a fiberglass rod
due to the properties of the material they tend to be shorter
honestly at that pricepoint you can sort of expect the same for everything
freshwater lakes mostly
I might just get the first one since it’s cheaper
the line is most likely crap on all of these
so I would at least recommend upgrading that
Yeah I mean decent line can start at $70 though
Yes and a bad one can make you hate the whole sport
All the bigger brands have cheaper lines too and I can assure you that they're miles ahead of whatever is on that reel
but at the same time I just wanna try it and I don’t wanna spend so much money if I don’t even like it
