Despite of sordlands many flaw how can Lachaven still tops on the busiest port in merkopa while wealthy countries such as lespia, rizia, or heck even arcasia did not make it.

I imagine it is important cause it is the closest port to the center of North Merkopa so likely an important poet for trade with Rumland

#

Also Gas production nearby

It is also Sordland's only major port at the time (with Conriat's limited by a nearby navy base and Morna's not being significant unless upgraded), while other countries might have their total trade volume spread around more ports, instead of having it centralized around a single one.

Anyways, its pretty much a relic of the early days where the world is pretty small

#

With the currently expanded lore, its pretty laughable

#

Theres a feedback report for this if u wanna have the devs hear about this

Benfi is mostly tourism. Shipping isnt mentioned once in the description

#

Lachaven is called a port town while Benfi is a seaside town

ripe horizon
#

Still a major port

Arvory doesnt transport outside of Agnland, one of the least populated regions in Sordland

Its a major port

acoustic rover
#

Yes its on the map, but it does not take away major volume from Lachaven. Much like Arvory, Benfi only supplies locally.

It literally has 3 internatonal trade routes

acoustic rover
#

Still not significant on a national scale, which is why I declared that the explanation for Lachaven being the busiest port in Merkopa despite Sordland being a secondary power is that Lachaven is the only relevant port nationwide.
Yes, secondary ports like Arvory and Benfi exist, but they are nothing when compared to Lachaven.

#

The port of Lachaven supplies all of Lachaven, Greater Holsord, Gelsland and Bergia while Benfi does not even have a rail connection

I cannot find the part about export volume

"Basking in its
fertile environment, Gruni's expanses transform into verdant vineyards that form a
cornerstone of the region's identity. Along its eastern edge, Gruni meets the
Antacaen Sea, hosting the pivotal port of Benfi that boosts the region's
connectivity and economic prospects
."

# acoustic rover I cannot find the part about export volume

"The bustling city of Benfi is facing infrastructural
challenges as its airport and port facilities are at full capacity due to high
volumes of logistics and tourist travel.
The situation is raising concerns over the
ability to sustain the growing demand without causing delays and disruptions.
Infrastructure expansion and modernization are being considered to resolve the
issue.",

due to the increasing tensions in the global rivalry between the
superpowers. Arcasia and United Contana's confrontation in the gulf of Rika
caused global trade routes to be redirected which led to the prices of various
products to rise twice fold. On top of that, many businesses are declaring
bankruptcy after finding their logistical chains either swindled or completely cut
off. Big corporations like Palentir Securities and Contana State Corporation
are pulling their investments out of Sordland, which are causing thousands of
Sordish to be unemployed"

Oh you mean export from Arvory’s hinterland to Staalport instead of exporting to Arvory and then going over land to Agnolia

#

My argument fundamentally relies on Lachaven having a massive hinterland that exports and imports their goods primarily through Lachaven. Arvory just has Agnland and Benfi has Gruni and the surrounding regions, but not Holsord (Holsord has a train connection with Lachaven, which is needed for the quantity of goods a capital trades. Benfi does not)

#

So it being filled up that fast is pretty telling

ripe horizon
#

Despite exporting goods from both G.Holsord and Lorren

#

Despite its describing as a small civ port comparing to its mili part, its still considered a major port as stated above

#

"Motor vehicles" has very limited production in Sordland, so where do they get vehicles to export from?

#

(90% probably from the military sector)
