I know that several people have made different versions of the world map, varying in size and shape for the parts not officially confirmed by developers, but there should be some sort of officially recognized world map so we can better understand the geopolitical situation.

#

OTHER POINTS:

Having an officially recognized world map would allow mappers to create world maps that aren't limited to the Antacean, before the current age, like 1836 with the great Mousser and Valgos Empire's. It would also help us to understand the geopolitical positioning, cultural tendancies and also the ways some of the superpowers were formed.

I'm a part of the camp that believes that there is a land bridge connecting Xina and Rika

#

I will also say that while nations like United Contana and Arcasia are superpowers, I'm pretty sure Rumburg is canonically the largest nation in terms of controlled land. This would suggest that the continent of Contana is geographically smaller than Rumburg, which is interesting considering the Anrakan isles separate Contana from Arcasia

I think there's no map precisely so the devs can just pull up new countries and scenarios whenever they please

#

Also it gives the players a feeling of there being something greater - like Contana and Arcasia of which we see nothing despite them being so powerful

#

From what we know it's very likely that Suzerain's world is much bigger than ours

I certainly agree, though I do find it interesting how big Vendonesam is, I feel like the second map is more realistic there. But also the second map is clearly some post Rummo-Sordish war fan fiction?

#

Also a question I've had for a while is when was vendonesam first name dropped? I swear I saw the first map BEFORE the rizia dlc but I dont remember Vendonesam ingame before that

Tbh Anraka is probably way too small in both maps. We know that they have fucking nuclear powered aircraft carriers + both ATO and the CSP feel the need to sign pacts of non agression with them. Other things to consider are that while Rumburg is stated to be the biggest country on the merkopan continent (curious to know Arcasias size) Rayne specifically says, that United Contana is the worlds biggest country.

I wonder if theres an in game equivalent to china.

Is there a way to look at all the geopolitico entries in the files?

#

I really dont recall that fact about anraka having aicraft carriers

I guess that's reasonable

And based off the map, I imagine Vendonesam has a climate similar to Manchuria.

Those maps dont seem right...Rumburg has a land area smaller than Mongolia...so theres no way northern Merkopa takes up that much space

This is Rumburg in canon.

What is further north? Is Markanissa a Rumburgian vassal state?

Would love to see everyones ideas how the Suzerain world looks like. To me, it seems devs played a game of civ and got a cool looking map

#

Area around Thompsfort looks kinda like the area of Königsberg and Klaipedia

It might be a rummish vassal but I don't think so
