2 different things, if you want to earn more and increase your SV, then you should route your planes on high income routes.
If you want to increase alliance contribution, your income will be greatly reduced
You can do hybrid strategy, but you will contribute decently and earn decently but you wont be best at either

Game mode?
You can choose to run 3x8hr strategy or 2x12 hr strategy for A380s.
Use route bot and find routes that are either 8 or 12 hrs long. With 10 min of buffer time.
For eg, if you decide to fly 3x8hr then look for routes that are 07:50hr long at max and if you want 12 hrs, then look for 11:50hr flight time at max.
Note - you can only fly 20000km at max in this game and stay profitable, longer than that and you lose money. In easy mode near 20000km will be flight time of 11:25hr at max iirc if your A380 are upgraded with speed modification
So in easy you wanna look for 11:30 hr max trip

Yeah. Even though you earn a tad bit more per day per plane, contribution drop is not worth it
