Turns out secrets scanning was turned off in february and there were 830 instances of secrets in code.

So instead of doing security team hackathon my director of security and my CISO both dragged me into a room to help them get a plan put together for fixing all of the everything with me being the single source of truth for what was vulnerable or not lol.

So, I have already tried to learn cybersecurity in 30 different places and for now what I felt most comfortable with is HTB. I have tried TryHackMe, some random ones on the internet that you search like 'cybersecurity course' and they teach you some things along with Linux fundamentals, directory command fundamentals, and other stuff. But the problem is that they are really confusing and jumbled, like, for example. I have already done courses provided by my own country that in 3 months introduced me in a poor and roundabout way to what this simple HTB module gave me. And worse, they even taught me wrong because there were things in the modules that I recognized as sugar in the water, but others that I was like, 'this one is really different.'
