They are two different paradigms, 90% of times you wouldn’t need it for AD and vice versa, but you can read them separately, knowing and having more context helps. Meanwhile you can focus on Authentication protocols and their abuse in AD, Identity abuse, relaying, potato family LPE, bloodhound etc etc

Windows internals when you’re looking at C2 ops, malware development and analysis, debugging, understanding low level stuff etc

A lot of the offensive content isn't free unfortunately, I do recommend Portswigger Academy for web stuff and it's completely free. Learning completely free is hard but also in some ways better because it forces you to do the research yourself rather than being presented with everything you need to know in one place.
