those kinds of servers have a bot running that's a 'verification' bot; but it's actually hooked in to grab your session token when you hit allow

but more often than not you'll get hit with an infostealer from downloading a cracked game or mod from an untrustworthy source

Mac is good coz it supports most Linux tools and the entire OS, you can run most stuff natively without VM or WSL
