this is my feedback:
I understand the new feature of XP for HTB labs. Its more gamified, and users can get more XP and higher ranks with retired content. They don't have to be crazy good for higher XP. But then, is there a point? HTB labs was quite helpful to show your skill, since you HAVE to solve active content. Now, anyone can just grind retired machines, look at their writeup, and boom. high XP. This shows NOTHING to employers. The XP grind is useless. and, they will continue to keep their XP since retired content gives XP. This makes no sense from a HTB user standpoint. I hate to see HTB going more gamified and in the direction of THM. HTB should help people get employed. Yes, and teach, and help them have fun. But HTB shouldn't be making their site MORE AND MORE gamified for more beginners to come and join them. It also just seems like HTB is trying to make more money. I doubt HTB will go back to its previous form, as most of the time, if something changes, it stays. UI changing is fine for me. But this? this is not good. if XP is given only for active content, then, why change at all? if XZP is given for ALL content, what is the purpose of XP?
