In my xp, low-quality performers are the ones who will suffer a lot from AI. Thereβs lots of AI automation, but cutting through the AI slop needs deeper knowledge, so expertise is still needed. You may not have as many pentest sweatshops for example in the future, because some companies may opt for an AI pentest for 50$/hr from amazon. But internal appsec experts are still needed, because no one is blindly trusting the AI agents
