I'm not speaking for every school but in some countries the education system is just a rabbit hole which you can't improve yourself but just studying for the "points//exams" and it's literally the worst thing in my opinion because I've had to work for the exam which is really based on memorization techniques etc. and it was really stupid, it doesn't improved me a bit.
and I did great too actually, after 2 years of "only" studying the curriculum.
