Not trying to demotivate you or anything, but just keeping it real here, you have to know what you're getting into - so know that your competition in cyber is people who literally eat, breathe and drink this stuff everyday, and the competition is still high even with those standards. On top of a saturated market and AI replacing entry level jobs which don't require much skill.
If despite this, you care enough and are determined to get into the field, then go for it. Here is the best place to start.

So your most important asset will be your drive to keep learning despite failures, no matter what, no matter how long it takes. No backing out. It may be difficult right now, but its not impossible.

You don't necessarily need a structured course to learn penetration testing, web hacking or cyber security in general. There are tons of free resources that can get you from zero to a pretty advanced level without paying a dime. You won't get the certs of course, but you can learn. The catch is, everything is pretty scattered around the web and you'll have to do research, but even if you do a course, learning to do good research is a must have skill in the feild anyway.
