I have been trying to solve a box today. I keep experiencing connectivity issues: the pages keep hanging and now I can't even ping the box. I changed servers and downloaded their VPN files but nothing seems to work. I deleted the cache and checked /etc/hosts multiple times. I also submitted logs to support. Basic first steps are disconnecting from the VPN and killing the target. Download a VPN for another region, hard refresh the page (CTRL+R), reconnect to the VPN, spawn the target.

More drastic steps would include powering off your VM, open an elevated command prompt and type netsh i i r r and then netsh winsock reset, reboot your computer, then try again.
